Join us to remember those impacted and to mourn those killed in domestic violence over the past year. 

To bring awareness to domestic violence and remember the victims and their families, the community is hosting a special memorial service. It will be held Tuesday, October 20th at Alton Memorial Hospital.  In addition to the hospital the Third Judicial Family Violence Prevention Council, the Oasis Women’s Center, Main Street United Methodist Church, and several other groups are co-hosting.

Rev. Nicholas Gleason is offering the opening prayer during the service.

Statistics show that one in every four women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime. Remember that anyone can be a victim.
