  domestic violence over the past year. \nTo bring awareness to domestic v
 iolence and remember the victims and their families\, the community is hos
 ting a special memorial service. It will be held Tuesday\, October 20th at
  Alton Memorial Hospital.  In addition to the hospital the Third Judicial
  Family Violence Prevention Council\, the Oasis Women’s Center\, Main St
 reet United Methodist Church\, and several other groups are co-hosting.\nR
 ev. Nicholas Gleason is offering the opening prayer during the service.\nS
 tatistics show that one in every four women will experience domestic viole
 nce in her lifetime. Remember that anyone can be a victim.\nIf you need he
